A Press Lunch takes place in Private Lounges, in a meeting room within the same institution or in a Hall for Private Events. This technique is generally used to provide specific information to a limited number of journalists and press representatives.
Invitations are personal and journalists strictly selected. First, they are invited by telephone and afterwards the confirmation is sent in the form of a written document.
Organizing such an event is not as complex as organizing a Press Conference. However, the Press Area may find it difficult to set a date that suits all selected people.
This tool guarantees a fluid contact with the media so every detail concerning the meeting must be taken into account. Thus, a guide should be prepared not to lose sight of the objectives of the meeting.
“Informality" is an important aspect to be considered when establishing or strengthening contact with the Press. The relaxed atmosphere that characterizes these meetings enables the Company to create a close link with a group of journalists in a different but no less important context.
